Baby Block Card

I made the card below for my niece's baby shower tomorrow.  I love how it turned out.  Here are the directions if you would like to make one:

  1. Cut card stock 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"
  2. On the 10 1/2" side, score at 3 1/2" and 7"
  3. The first fold will be the mountain fold and the second fold will be the valley fold.
  4. Close the valley fold and line it up with the top of the trimmer.  Cut 1 1/2" along the fold at 3/8", 1 3/8", 1 5/8", 2 5/8", 3 7/8", 4 1/8" and 5 1/8
  5. Turn and score at the ends of the cuts so they will fold up with the mountain folds.  Leave the 1/4" slits as valley folds.
  6. Cut a piece of cardstock 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 and DSP 3 3/8 x 5 3/8 and adhere to front of card.
  7. Cut 2 pieces of DSP 1 7/8 x 5 3/8.  Adhere those to the two panels.
  8. Building blocks:
    • Cut four pieces of colored cardstock 1 x 2 7/8 and adhere to blocks (this makes the mat that extends from one side to the other.
    • Cut eight pieces of 7/8 x 1 3/8.  Stamp your message and adhere to blocks on your card.
  9. Decorate as desired.
Cardstock:  Hello Honey, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
DSP:  Lullaby
Stamps:  Something for Baby, Sophisticated Serifs
Big Shot:  Baby's First Framelits
